Ferralsols - Soils of NW-Thailand

Anthrosols exist on stable plateaus, where the former soil formation is still preserved (Kubiniok 1999), or where the parent material has an exceptional composition like the bauxite and iron ores within the Permian limestone formation of Bor Krai. Relictic Ferralsols on stable plateaus gradually alter to Acrisols and Cambisols.
