Lot Cave (Mae Hong Son Province)

The Lot cave is situated within Permian limestone in the Pang Ma Pha karst area. The Nam Lan river pass through this active river cave . In prehistoric times some caverns in the cave were used as burial site, as indicated by the remnants of coffins. At dusk thousands of swallows fly back into the cave, while the bats fly out. Guides with bamboo rafts and laterns' are available at the entrance.
